100 WINNERS FOR CONTRIBUTER

Contributer brought up an important milestone on Saturday siring his 100th individual winner when Embezzler won the first race at Tauranga for trainer Ross McCarrol.

We are super proud of our champion Contributer and how incredibly well his offspring are performing on the racetrack. Contributer achieved his century of winners from only 146 runners at a brilliant strike rate of 69% winners to runners. To put this in context, the great Savabeel achieved his first 100 winners with 164 runners to the track.

The champion son of High Chaparral started off his stud career in wonderful fashion being crowned champion second season sire after his 3 year-olds performed incredibly well on the race track. There were 5 individual stakes winners from his first crop including two Gr.1 winners - Lion's Roar and Campionessa.

Contributer has always been a statistical star with his offspring performing at very high level on the racetrack. Overall his strike rate of 69% winners to runners is only 2nd to Savabeel, and is above the likes of high profile stallions such as Proisir and Per Incanto.

His stakes winners to runners sits an impressive 6.2% and is on par with Proisir who stands at $80,000+gst. Add in an impressive list of stakes performers, Contributer is performing at a brilliant 16.4% stakes performers to runners and is again ranked only 2nd to Savabeel for all active stallions in New Zealand.

If we cast our eye a little further, we can see that Contributer has firmly established himself as one of the elite sons of High Chaparral standing at stud across Australasia. Contributer is outperforming the likes of So You Think, Dundeel, and Toronado in all three categories of winners to runners, stakes winners to runners and stakes performers to runners.
